The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times, location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen. Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.

Register and educate voters at the Cedar Hill Block Party. Each indoor non-profit vendor will receive 1 booth space that will consist of one 6-ft. table and 2 chairs in the meeting rooms at the Alan E. Sims Recreation Center. Gwenda will do set up between 8 and 9 am. The Recreation Center opens at 8:00am on Saturdays. The event begins at 9:00am. Vendors may begin to pack up at 12:45pm, but not any earlier as the event ends at 1:00pm.

LWV Dallas is a sponsor of the the Earth, Wind, & Fire Conference hosted by the Dallas Sierra Club. The one-day event will be at the Brookhaven campus of Dallas College on Saturday, March 1. Special student rates (with ID) are available. Timely and important topics include our future water supply, the invisible danger of Ethylene Oxide, forever chemicals in our drinking water, the Texas electric grid, urban fracking, clearing the air for DFW, microplastics, earthquakes and deep injection from oil and gas operations and more!
