The League of Women Voters of the United State encourages informed and active  participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.  

For over 100 years,  we have been a nonpartisan, activist, grassroots organization that believes voters should play a critical role in democracy.  We do not  support or oppose candidates or political parties. 

The League of Women Voters of Dallas is a diverse, multigenerational organization.  We work together to:

1.  Be Informed:    Easy online access to programs, publications, and discussions from the US, State and local League.

2.  Serve the Community:    Register voters, educate the public on Texas election laws, and meet with elected officials. 

3.  Create Change:    Study issues and educate and advocate for our public policy positions.

4.  Meet New People:     Our members are from every generation and are welcoming, smart, engaging, and hopeful.

5.  Develop New Skills:     Gain experience in voter services, advocacy, public speaking, and research.

6.  Be Active:    Be involved to the extent you choose to be.

By joining LWV-Dallas, you automatically become a member of the following Leagues:

You will add your voice to a national organization with over 500,000 members and supporters. 

Tips for Using our Website from ClubExpress

With ClubExpress you will find it easy to join or donate, find details on election information, review issue positions and committee projects, register for monthly events and volunteer opportunities, find other members with similar advocacy interests and much more.   Club Express is used by over 100 League leaders across the country, other local Texas Leagues, the State League and in our national office.  

A few tips to make ClubExpress easy for you to use:

• If you are a current member, you will need to log in to renew your membership. 

• If you need assistance to login, click here for a Word document with instructions: LWVD Website Login Help.

• When you join/renew, you will receive two emails from Club Express: (1) A signup or renewal confirmation email; and    (2) a payment confirmation email after the payment has processed.

• The signup confirmation email will include a temporary username and password. You can change both the username and password.  If you sign-up as a household, your secondary member will get an email with his/her own username and password.

• Make sure to login every time you interact with the website.  When you do  this,  you will be able to  see the membership directory and have your contact information pre-filled when registering for an event, signing up to volunteer, or making a donation. 

• If you have issues with updating your username or password, ClubExpress provides dedicated staff to assist you either by phone or email.   They are available  weekdays by phone from 6:30 am - 9:00 pm CT.
