Information on the Your Vote Your Power Event at For Oak Cliff
The League of Women Voters of Dallas, Dallas NAACP Branch, and LULAC District 3 are hosting a nonpartisan voter registration drive to empower voters before the election.

During the event, English and Bilingual Spanish-speaking volunteers will register voters and provide voter education services such as explaining when and where to vote or how voters can update their registration if they moved recently. Food will be on-site and available for purchase. Special guest speakers will share personal stories about the importance of voting.

Big news:  Jim Schutze, author of The Accommodation.  The Politics of Race in an American City will be one of the speakers.

Thank you Susybelle Gosslee and Ashley Washington for bringing LWVD into a collaboration with NAACP Dallas Branch and LULAC to register and engage voters.  Thank you to the volunteers who have signed up.  The pool will also be open with two lifeguards on duty.

Thank you for helping us make Democracy work in our Communities!
