Dallas Holocaust & HR Museum Spring Break Survivor Speaker Series: Mark Jacobs

About this event

LWV Dallas is a community partner with the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum (DHHRM)’s Spring Break Survivor Speaker Series. Join us each afternoon during Spring Break to hear from Holocaust Survivor and second generation speakers. Each event is held in person and virtually.

About the Speaker:

Mark Jacobs is the son of Holocaust survivor Mike Jacobs, Z”L. Mark will share his father’s story from 1939, when he and his family were confined in the Ostrowiec Ghetto. His parents, two brothers and two sisters, were murdered at Treblinka Death Camp. Mike survived several camps, including Auschwitz and was liberated from Mauthausen-Gusen II by the U.S. Army in 1945.

There is no cost to attend this event, but registration is required. To register, click the "buy" button on this website. If you would like to tour the Museum, normal admission fees apply.
