Welcome to the first meeting of 2023 to our continuing members and new committee members! This is a combined monthly meeting for the Voter Rights Advocacy Committee and the Voter Services team. Many of you are signed up for both! Bring friends!
This is the one time in a month that we get together to chat about voting and the projects we're working on to increase civic participation and improve the voter experience!
The Agenda:
1.The status ofprojects to improve the voter experience and our work with Dallas County Elections. You mayremember we had a debrief onelection worker and voter experience with Dallas V.O.T.E.S. and Michael Scarpello (Dallas County ElectionAdministrator) in November.We worked together to turn that discussion into deliverable projects and want your input.
2.Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel had a veryinteresting Lunch and Learn session with the attendees below and there's a few key points to share for our advocacy work:
