Childcare is more than a family issue. It’s economic infrastructure.
Texas Women’s Foundation’s latest research examines what happens when families can’t access the childcare they need and what could happen if more families had support to participate in the workforce.
The potential economic impact is significant. The report estimates that families forgo $1.63 billion in direct earnings because families can’t access affordable childcare.
Join us Thursday, September 10, 6:00 - 7:15 PM for an in-person conversation with Karen Hughes White, President & CEO of Texas Women’s Foundation. We’ll explore what the research tells us about the affordability crisis, childcare deserts, and how targeted support can increase labor force participation and household earnings.
