My message for this edition is simple:
- Check your voter registration before Monday, October 7th.
- If you have not registered, you have until 5pm on October 7th to do so.
- Vote411.org is live — check your ballot by entering your address.
- Get a copy of our free printed Voters Guide soon — they should be in public libraries no later than October 16th.
- Vote—early voting begins October 21st and ends on November 1st. You can vote at any vote center in the County. Know what identification documents you need to bring with you.

Let your voice be heard: vote!
It is important to vote for all items on your ballot. Those races beyond President and US Senator often have as much or greater impact on our daily lives. If you live in the city of Dallas, there are important propositions on the ballot to change the city charter. Other suburban cities in the country have propositions that can also affect the governing of your city.
