LWV Dallas is a community partner with the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum (DHHRM)’s Spring Break Survivor Speaker Series. Join us each afternoon during Spring Break to hear from Holocaust Survivor and second generation speakers. Each event is held in person and virtually.
About the Speaker:
Phil Glauben is the son of Holocaust survivor Max Glauben, Z”L and will share his father’s story. In 1939, Max was 11 when the Nazis invaded Poland. He and his family were confined to the Warsaw Ghetto in 1940. Max smuggled food and supplies into the ghetto. He was deported to Majdanek Death Camp and then to other concentration camps. He was liberated by the U.S. Army.
There is no cost to attend this event, but registration is required. To register, click the "buy" button on this website. If you would like to tour the Museum, normal admission fees apply.
