Voter Service - Block Walk near Concord Church

About this event
LWVD will be joining forces with other organizations and churches to block walk neighborhoods near Concord Church. The walk will start with organizers at Concord Church which is across the street from the Red Bird Mall.
Block walkers will distribute the LWVD Vote Bookmark. This will be well organized with people who are experienced in leading this type of effort. In this way, we will be able to share learning with those who are doing this for the first time. They also will have people who live in the various communities, to drive the area in order to give walkers items that they need; and who make people comfortable as they live in these communities.
9:30 to 10 to gather and organize; 10 to Noon to walk.
Organizations and churches involved: Concord Church, St. Luke Methodist Church, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, NAACP Dallas Branch, Pan-Hellenic Council, Poor People’s People’s Campaign, and LWV Dallas.
Please join this group if you aren’t going to the LWVTX Convention.
