We all want an equal say in the decisions that shape our future. We all need a democracy that represents, reflects, and responds to us all.

One of our most important democratic freedoms is our right to vote. To fulfill American democracy's promise, we need reforms that would limit big money's influence in politics, protect voting rights, and ensure fair representation in congressional districts. Now is a crucial time for citizens to be engaged in the debate over our voting rights.

Come learn about proposed legislation designed to protect our freedom to vote. Join us in a conversation and an educational presentation with U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett, Dr. Matthew Wilson, the Kairo Endowed Director of the Center for Faith and Learning and Associate Professor of political science at Southern Methodist University, and David Griggs, JD, adjunct professor at the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law and adjunct instructor at Dallas College. The speakers will discuss the importance of working to pass pro-democracy legislation like the Freedom to Vote Act and other related policy reforms.
