A Special Evening at 6:30 pm at Wilshire Baptist Church!
A change in plans! Instead of the monthly zoom meeting of the Housing Advocacy Group, members and friends are invited to attend a panel discussion at Wilshire Baptist Church on the same day at 6:30pm.
The topic is “Affordable Housing and Homelessness”. The meeting is in the Community Hall at 4316 Abrams Road. No need to register. Contact Madge Cruse for more information.
Speakers will be: Joli Robinson (President of Housing Forward), Mark Melton (Founder, Dallas Eviction Advocacy Center and Honoree at 2023 SBA Luncheon) and Ashley Flores (Sr. Director of Child Poverty Action Lab, the co-author of a guide to improving voucher acceptance).
