Voting so Far

About 42,700 votes have been cast in the municipal/isd races in Dallas County through April 30. This is very slightly higher than predicted, but still pretty sleepy. The turnout (percentage of registered voters who have voted) for selected cities is noted below. So few voters decide so much...

Addison 3.9%

Balch Springs 1.5%

Carrollton 4.5%

Cedar Hill 5.2%

Coppell 8.1%

Dallas 3.0%

DeSoto 2.4%

Duncanville 3.0%

Farmers Branch 8.5%

Garland 2.9%

Grand Prairie 2.6%

Irving 2.5%

Richardson 4.3%

Rowlett 3.9%

Sachse 4.1%

Seagoville 2.2%

Sunnyvale 11.5%

Wilmer 3.0%

Per Jeff Dalton

If 5% of those registered vote, that means 5 out of 100 registered vote, which means each voter represents 20 registered (100/5 = 20).
