Subject: North Texas Giving Day and LWVD Voter Services!
From: League of Women Voters of Dallas

Action Alert - For Our Members and Friends

It’s North Texas Giving Day this month, and your support for Voter Engagement is requested.  November 8 is a few weeks away!

You know we have work to do when only 7.8% of Dallas County voters went to the polls in March 2022 for the Texas Joint Primary election.

With your support, the volunteers of the League of Women Voters of Dallas will create and share our nonpartisan, researched, trusted information with voters and organizations in person and online.  We have or plan to:

  1. Create, print and distribute voter information flyers in English, Spanish and Vietnamese across the county (see below);
  2. Produce and print thousands of copies of our popular Voters Guide in English and Spanish and publish online on our website;
  3. Enable VOTE411 with voting information specific to Dallas County candidates and ballots;
  4. Use our research to target social media ads to low turnout areas; and
  5. Ensure our volunteers have lots of voter materials to give out at community colleges and other registration/education events.

Please help us reach the over 1 million Dallas County registered voters who didn’t vote in March 2022, and the 474,000 who didn’t vote in the 2020 Presidential election.
