About this event
LWV Dallas is a community partner with the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum (DHHRM)’s Spring Break Survivor Speaker Series. Join us each afternoon during Spring Break to hear from Holocaust Survivor and second generation speakers. Each event is held in person and virtually.
About the Speaker:
Hanna Schrob was born in 1936 in Maastricht, Holland. The Nazis invaded Holland in 1940. Two years later, Hanna and her family were arrested by the Gestapo and deported to Westerbork Transit Camp. The family was held in Westerbork for over six months. After transfer to other camps in Western Europe, Hanna and her family were liberated by the U.S. Army in France in late 1944.
There is no cost to attend this event, but registration is required. To register, click the "buy" button on this website. If you would like to tour the Museum, normal admission fees apply.
